It aims for the education of values and culture as well as language. Education in the target language focuses on daily speaking language and families are encouraged to participate in the system.

OYDO’s unique education model progresses primarily over 22 themes including common themes like, “My Body”, “Colours and Shapes”, Vehicles”, and new themes that will be groundbreaking in the field like, “Meeting with People”, “My Family”, “Words of Kindness”, Telephone Conversations”. In this meticulously structured model, there are activities and table-top plays related to each theme that will attract the attention of children so they will participate and enjoy, and completely different subjects that will broaden the horizons of children such as “Scientist Stories”, “Introduction to Philosophy”, “Maps and Navigation”, “New Generation Professions”, which are also associated with the themes, are introduced. Why OYDO?

Studies indicate that the most productive age range for children to be able to permanently speak fluently and to have flawless pronunciation is 0 to 7. When it comes to the education of children in this age group, it is a widely accepted fact that the best tool is "play". The fact that OYDO is situated at the very intersection of these two extremely important scientific data leads to "Why OYDO?" constitutes a very brief and concise answer to the question itself.

After examining the studies in the field of education, OYDO, an efficient language teaching system is designed in line with the needs of every group involved in the education sphere. It is very important to note that OYDO enters children’s lives before they finish the critical age of 7 when language acquisition is largely achieved. Because at this age, a child's brain is already cognitively ready for language acquisition. Without losing this innate ability to acquire language with OYDO, this crucial period is used most actively and efficiently. In OYDO thanks to plays exclusively designed, all the language skills of children can develop simultaneously and at the same pace. Since plays are fun, the learning process occurs very rapidly. As the learning proceeds, the brain's reward mechanism is activated and this neurochemical affirmation increases the motivation of the children. Thanks to the plays and other complementary elements in OYDO, children learn by listening, talking, being motivated, and enthusiastic. This way of learning is the best learning method for children. In the OYDO method, children will be in an environment where they can move freely, therefore, they will not be afraid of learning a language and will be willing to learn through play for which is the most natural way of learning. OYDO’s unique system has been created after years of reviewing outstanding academic research and this system has been made accessible for both children and their families.

Founder's Message

Hello everyone,

I am the mother of Dila, İdil and Bakia. I love reading, researching and traveling the world. I am a teacher who embraces the theory of teaching through experience.

I learned everything when I was a child. How an apple smells, how an orange peels, that fears are learned later... Now whenever I eat an apple, it reminds me of my childhood. Whenever I see an orange, I’d like to fry the peels of it on a burning stove. I had a childhood that I dreamed of in present children. I would play on the street, jump with a rope, jump from branch to branch... It didn't matter if the older, the younger, the girl or the boy who played. In the evening we would return home before it gets dark. The evening call to prayer would be our alarm. When the lights of the mosque turned on, we used to run to our house, in winters frozen from the cold and in summers with sweat running down our foreheads. I was a little naughty. On the street where I was born, I was only a child at first and then I became the elder sisters of children. And then their volunteer teacher... I started observing children at a very early age. My teaching life started in Adana. Then it continued in İstanbul, Dubai and  Abu Dhabi. I love flowers, insects, wolves, birds, and all the animals but especially the children. I have a lot of fun with them. They are sparkling. Especially when I look into their eyes I think that this little person will grow up. So I pay attention twice when I talk to them. I have always said that children who have grown up with love and who can empathize should rule the world. I have a team with big hearts. I also have many voluntary envoys. I did not know which one to count. They will tell you about themselves. I had a dream, I put the kids in it; cats, dogs, wolves, birds, tomatoes on its branches... I also added the fragrance of fresh bread. I have never been a mother whose heart beats only for her own children. Now, I thank endlessly to the heroes of my stories that have inspired me. You will see those heroes abundantly in OYDÖ.

Let's start to understand the children again. Because I learned everything from them. Since 2015, I have been teaching game-based native language lessons with “Learn Turkish Dubai”. With the new perspective I brought to education, I aroused the attention of many educational institutions in UAE. I still teach Turkish lessons in many institutions under the name of mother tongue education with games. I am an Atatürk’s teacher. His path is through science, art and nature. Taking him as a model to myself and adhering to his principles and reforms, I aim to restructure the classical education curriculum according to the needs of children, and teach our national values and culture as well as Turkish. While raising our children, our culture, traditions, customs and values are of great importance. Because feeling themselves belonging to a culture contributes to the development of children. For this reason, I follow the same philosophy while raising my own daughters, too.

In order to raise individuals with 21st century competencies, OYDÖ, which is a modern education model that I have developed in line with the needs of 21st century children, aims to make children learn by listening, speaking, repeating, and applying, as a need-oriented system. started. In this system, children internalize the education they receive. Since children, like all individuals, want to be noticed, when you start looking into their eyes, the change begins at that moment. With OYDÖ, I approach the global problem of the mother tongue from a different perspective. I try to offer children a natural environment where they can learn by doing, living, practicing and seeing. I aim to provide mother tongue education and language teaching to children in Turkish, Arabic, English and other languages. I studied for a long time on what and what subjects a child needs while learning a language. I have systematized these issues based on the European Language Portfolio, together with the results of the surveys conducted with the families who attended my classes and who were around me. I transferred the effective aspects of the games to language acquisition and teaching. The lack or absence of materials, including English, which are used in language teaching accessible to teachers, families and children around the world, enabled me to create original materials belonging to OYDÖ. These materials, which I developed in connection with the games, started to be used actively in the teaching of different languages. I have also started to work on the implementation of this system which is originally in Turkish for Turkish children living abroad, in English, in Arabic and in other languages .

I know that Turkish children living in many different countries of the world are voluntary envoys of Turkey, and if they know their country, their loyalty to these lands will increase and they will become a bridge between the world and our country. Hope that the world will be ruled by today's children who have grown up with love and affection ...
